FARR HALL DRIVE RESIDENTS GROUP

Working together for a more peaceful and natural community

Farr Hall Drive is under attack by Developers

We are a group of concerned neighbours who are fighting to keep our peaceful enclave a place which people can enjoy, whether they live, walk or ride along our leafy bridleway. Please follow our journey as we try to protect this lovely area from developers who want to overdevelop the land and maximise their profits

01 Petition

A Petition against the demolition of No 22 Faraway to make way for a block of flats received overwelming support from FHD residents and the surrounding area. Residents are continuing with a publicity campaign to keep everyone aware of how damaging this would be.

02  Planning

The new Planning Portal no longer shows numbers of supporters or objectors. This has already raised concerns on the accuracy of statements at planning meetings. This needs urgent attention so that local democracy is not undermined. Wirral Council Planners have already been approached

03Block of Flats

Residents are going public with their concerns. Take a look at their poster and see what a developer has planned for No 22 Faraway. Also, take a look on Channel 4's Coast vs Country to see what is being demolished to make way for them

04 Urgent TPO

Trees cut down by developer even before the planning application was filed for No 22 Faraway. Wirral Borough Council had to step in with an Emergency Tree Preservation Order.

05 NO FLATS!

Residents are absolutely against redeveloments with flats because the Bridleway infrastructure, including drains, cannot cope with the current housing levels. We need the Planning Process to keep heeding the danger to children, the damage to the surface and flooding?
